Personal Thoughts

Ichthus (or ichthys) is the Ancient Greek word for fish. As history reminds us this symbol was used by early persecuted believers to help identify fellow followers of Christ. One would draw the upper stroke of the fish and the other the lower half. This ornament serves to remind us that although we are not subjected to the persecution endured by early Christians there are however thousands of fellow believers that are under tremendous persecution for their faith. We should always pray for the persecuted church.
