THE BURNING BUSH

Exodus 3:2

“And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.” (ESV)

Personal Thoughts

The burning bush reminds us that God has also appeared to us as He has effectually called us to Him. It may not be a burning bush but we need not lose sight of the fact that God through the power of the Holy Spirit set our hearts ablaze. As God spoke to Moses, He speaks to us today from His Spirit that lives within us. We only need to turn our eyes to Him and listen as He leads and directs.
